DJBLAKLITE so back in 2014ish, I decided to check out what was new in the metal world. lo and behold, I found this album. as well as a few others.....and I wasn't really interested. just wasn't tickling my fancy.
fast forward several years, to now, and I just spent 3 days trying to figure out "who the hell that metal band was that had the album with those 3 ambient Trax at the end!"
well I found them, and I must say, while I find the vocals a little lacking, the rest well makes up for it. very very good. Favorite track: Plenitude.

haldotwav The flow from Awaken-Hail is probably one of the best ways to start a record. Chilling build to a constant, in your face blast. Favorite track: Awaken.

about

Deep, intelligent and forward thinking, UNEVEN STRUCTURE are set to release their debut album FEBRUUS on October 31st via Basick Records. The release is a thirteen piece concept spanning across two discs, mixing lush soundscapes with fierce polymetric Metal, think Pink Floyd's creativity meets Meshuggah's brutality with a side serving of Devin Townsend's progressive charm.

“'Februus' will make those who claim "djent" to be dull and uncreative to take their words back.” 10/10 - Got Djent

“Jump into this album at any point and you’ll be up to your neck in swirling ether and gloriously low-end monotone guitars that follow disorientating time signatures, all coming together to set up this huge overwhelming mindfuck.” 4/6 - Thrash Hits

"You just might be listening to the best album all year and one of the best in the djent genre, period. Thall.” 5/5 - Heavy Blog Is Heavy

“If there is one album to make a deliberate b-line to this is it, Uneven Structure has set a new standard for melodic metal with their debut and will surely make a lot of bands reassess their own sound and approach.” - Ringmaster Reviews
