DJBLAKLITE so back in 2014ish, I decided to check out what was new in the metal world. lo and behold, I found this album. as well as a few others.....and I wasn't really interested. just wasn't tickling my fancy.
fast forward several years, to now, and I just spent 3 days trying to figure out "who the hell that metal band was that had the album with those 3 ambient Trax at the end!"
well I found them, and I must say, while I find the vocals a little lacking, the rest well makes up for it. very very good. Favorite track: Plenitude.

haldotwav The flow from Awaken-Hail is probably one of the best ways to start a record. Chilling build to a constant, in your face blast. Favorite track: Awaken.

Leterren Beautiful. Atmospheric. Haunting. Brutal. A bona fide djent classic Favorite track: Awaken.

I’ve seen some amazing prog bands come out of France lately and this is another one, one of the best.. I’m in amazement at the complexity of what’s been accomplished and recorded here. I’m not a fan of scream and there’s not much of it, mostly reserved for late in the song, is that 8 strong guitars?? Low baritone awesomeness and the drumming is outstanding. I wish I could do that.
